A Last Farewell

We went up to Salt Lake this past weekend to see Danny's parents before they got on a plane to head to Africa. They will be gone on their mission for 18 months and we will miss them a lot. We had a great weekend with them, going to a Real Game, eating at Olive Garden and going to the Hogle Zoo. It was sad to say good bye again but we know they will have a great time. We also got to spend some time with my family, we had a BBQ at Mueller Park and had a yummy Sunday dinner, you know the dinners that your moms make that you can never really duplicate! p.s. and yes I just got braces if you were wondering why my mouth looks weird!

Lake Powell

Danny's family rented a house boat at Lake Powell for family vacation this year. Hunter had a great time swimming and boating. He had no fear when it came to the water. Even little Krew went, he had a good time until he started getting a little to hot and so we decided to take him home! Overall it was a great trip with lots of yummy food! Is it just me or does everything taste better at Lake Powell!!

Splash Pad!!

In St. George there are a lot of parks that have these fun splash pads. It's the only thing you can do in the summer because it is so dang HOT! But this is one of the funnest ones we have played at. This was in the backyard of one of our friends parent's home! Wouldn't you love this in your backyard?

4th of July

We had a great 4th. We got up in the morning and went swimming at Danny's work. We swam and ate lunch and were there for about 3 hours. Hunter loves the water and is getting really good at swimming in his life jacket. In the afternoon we all took naps and then went to Danny's parents house for dinner and some fireworks! Hunter was so excited for the fireworks he could hardly wait until it got dark. There is a cute picture of the boys with Danny's parents. They are leaving in a week for a mission in Africa, we will miss them so much!
