Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas! I think we were more excited about Hunter seeing what Santa brought him then he was! We spent the morning at home and the rest of the day with Danny's family. We had a yummy lunch at the Abbey Inn with the extended family. The kids acted out the nativity, we "tried" to dress up Hunter as a shephard, and we played some really fun games! After the party at the motel, we spent the rest of the day at Danny's parents, opening presents and eating omlets! It turned out to be a almost too busy day! Hope everyone else had a great day!

Girls Day Out

My mom, sister, grandma, sister-in-law and I spent the day before Christmas out at Gardner Village. We didn't buy to much, but we checked out all the shops, ate lunch and took a bunch of pictures! I think our real reason for going was to get a break from the babies, it was nice! We had a lot of fun! We didn't stay up in Bountiful for Christmas, we left Christmas Eve day. We had a great time seeing everyone though and even took some time to take Hunter sledding for the first time! It was pretty chilly out!

Live Navtivity

On Monday night we went to see a live nativity with some of our friends. Seeing the nativity really got me in the Christmas spirit and reminded me of the true meaning of Christmas. How cool would that have been to be there to see the Christ child, I can only imagine. Happy Holidays everyone!

Family Pictures

Danny's mom took some pictures of us on Saturday afternoon for our Christmas card. Hunter was not really cooperating, but what can you do. We were there for about a half hour and it started to rain, so our photo session got cut short. Let me tell you, Danny was really sad about that! So if I don't have your address to send you a Christmas card, here's some of the pictures you would get! Merry Christmas!

I've been tagged

Again, sorry about the third post tonight. I forgot to do this "tagged" thing! I am not that exciting, but here is goes. I am supposed to just write 5 things about myself... 1- I absolutely hate when people whistle. I know that they are doing it because they are happy, but I can't help the fact that it annoys me! 2- One of my dreams is for Danny to take me to a dance! I always tell him that I wish we could get all dressed up and go to a dance! He thinks I am crazy, and I didn't even like dances in high school that much! Don't ask me, I just dream about it! 3- Watching people brush their teeth makes me want to throw-up, I don't even watch myself. Brushing Hunter's teeth was a major feet for me! 4- My all time favorite time of year is fall. I love the leaves changing, the smell outside and wearing jackets again! I just love it! 5- I have a major phobia of the D.I. I know it's crazy, all sorts of people go there, but there is a smell there that can't be dupicated! It takes a lot to get me through the doors!

We BELIEVE

Sorry I know this is two posts in the same day but what would a blog page be without a picture of your Christmas Tree! This is Hunters new favorite thing! We are picking up ornaments all over the house all day long!

Hunter's 2nd Birthday?

We went up to Bountiful this last weekend to help my sister Heather move into her new house, celebrate my other sister Kami's 20th Birthday and have a late Thanksgiving! My mom cooked a full Thanksgiving meal for us and it was delicious! Hunter helped Kami blow out her candles and he couldn't resist the cupcake sitting in front on him, sorry Kami! Hunter also experienced his first snow storm, and we went to a Jazz game! Man, we were busy!

Thanksgiving in Cancun

So we spent a week in Cancun over Thanksgiving. We went with Danny's work, they take their whole office on a trip every year, and this year it was Cancun! We had so much fun swimming in the ocean, snorkeling, building sand castles. We went to Tulum one day and into Playa Del Carmen shopping another day, but most of the vacation was relaxing on the beach. If you can call chasing a 1 year old around Mexico relaxing!

Dance Dance Revolution

Today we were going a little stir crazy after church because our little Hunter has been sick all weekend, so we didn't think that we should drag him to grandparents houses etc. So we decided to whip out Dance Dance Revolution. We had a great time! I have to admit I am horrible at it, Danny is really good, and Hunter was content as long as he was sitting on the dance pad!

My Little Helper

This week I have been sewing, and you know when you are into a project you don't want to put it all away every night just to get it back out again. So our den has been quiet the disaster for a few days with fabric every where. I found Hunter the other day all wrapped up in some of the fabric and couldn't resist taking a picture!

Best Buds

This is my little sister Brookelle with Hunter. They are best buds, Hunter loves her to death! When we go up north to visit, he would much rather be with her than with me! I am trying to get her to come and stay with us for the summer, I think they would have a ball together. I wanted to put a picture of her on our blog because I know she checks is everyday, HI BROOKELLE!

Halloween Day

Today was a busy day for us and it's not even over yet. We met Danny at his work at 11:30 with all the other moms and babies so that we could see all the cute costumes. After that we went over to the Elementary school parade where Danny's sister teaches 3rd grade. Man did that bring back some fun memories! Tonight we will be passing out candy to all the million kids in our neighborhood! Hope we don't run out!

Music, Music, Music

So late last night Danny and I decided we were going to put music on our blog. This is the first thing Danny has wanted to help do. So we had a very hard time finding songs that we both like, so enjoy the wide varity of tunes from French music for Danny, country (which Danny hates), to David Gray (who I could do without) and especially Collin Rayes Little Red Rodeo for all of you who remember riding home from high school in Elise's little blue truck! Man time sure does fly, but some great memories last forever!

Our House

I had this posted before, but thought I would put it back on. This is our new home in Washington Fields. We absolutley love it and have the best neighbors! We had a block party BBQ at our house about a month ago and had a great turn out. We had about 12 families come out. We set up a bouncy house for all the kids and they had a blast! This is the kind of neighborhood you want to stay in forever!

Grandpa Tripp

My Grandpa Tripp passed away this week at the age of 87. I thought it would be appropriate to put a picture of the great legacy he left behind. You always think that they will be there when you visit, then one day they're not. He was such a great Grandpa, always writing me letters after I had moved away. We love you Grandpa, you will be missed.

Gardner Village

This weekend between Conference Sessions, the girls went out to Gardner Village. I can't even tell you how cute it was out there! They had the whole village decorated for Halloween with witches and pumpkins, it was so cute! We went into one of the stores and they had these fun witches hats, we had to take a picture! Happy Halloween, my favorite time of year!

I Love Weddings

For anyone that looks at this blog, sorry there is not much on it. I changed my background and all of my pictures got lost! A very typical situation for me. So I will try and add some back on, for now we are moving forward! We went up to Bountiful for Kami's wedding this weekend. She got married on Friday in the Salt Lake Temple to AJ Garner. She looked so gorgeous, look at that dress! She had her reception planned for outside but it was too cold and rainy, so we had it in the church. That worked out better for us because Hunter could play in the nursery, and Danny too! I went in to check on them and Danny was playing soccer with my little brother Scott. The nursery is for kids of all ages!

A Blogging idiot

So I decide that I am going to try this blogging thing right? But I never knew that you had to do a new post so that it would put the date on it and change my archive to September, now it is October. I really need some blogging help. I also wish that this thing had spell check because I am not sure how many things I have spelled wrong, or is it spelt? I don't even know if that is a word. I love the cute back grounds that everyone does, but of course I have no clue how to do that. If anyone has some blogging tips, feel free to send them my way. So for the very few of you that even look at this thing, sorry I am so bad at it. But we will continue on, and if nothing else, I will just keep adding pictures, because that's what I like to look at anyway. By the way, I just found the spell checker!
