Easter Weekend

We had such a fun Easter weekend. My family came down to the warm weather to enjoy their weekend with us! We went hiking, shopping, bull-riding and swimming. We dyed Easter eggs and had an Easter egg toss, and a scavenger hunt; we had the best time! We were sad to see them go and they were sad to go back to the cold weather!

Our call to 911!

So today I was on my cell phone and Hunter was screaming in my ear so I handed him our home phone to play with. When I got off, I made sure that the home phone was off so that he didn't accidentally call someone. A few minutes later I get a call from Washington city dispatcher asking if everything is OK, because someone just called 911 from our house!! I about had a heart attack and tried to apologise to her, and I look outside and there is a cop car in front of my house! Feeling embarassed, frustrated and furious all at the same time, the cop comes to my door, asks if everything is ok, and asks if he can come in and look around! I told him I was so sorry, but said that I was impressed with how quick they came, he was not thrilled with that comment. Sometimes I wonder how we make it through the day, really!

Too Much FUN!

This will be my last post today I promise! We were over at Danny's brother's house the other night having dinner and Hunter went down their indoor slide for the first time! Did I say indoor, yes indoor slide. From the upstairs to the downstairs, a big green spiral slide! Hunter had so much fun, he went down all by himself! I am slowly trying to learn how to let go and let him do things on his own! His little face tells it all, either really happy or possessed.

Hiking in Johnson Canyon

On Saturday the weather was so nice we decided to go hiking. There is this really neat trail just outside of Snow Canyon National park called Johnson Canyon trail. We packed up Hunter and some lunches and hit the trail. The whole thing was only about 2 miles and Hunter slept more than half way. At the end of the trail there is this huge arch that we actually couldn't find until someone pointed it out to us! It was a fun thing to do on a Saturday afternoon, I definitely recommend it!

18 Months

Hunter is 18 months old, and we decided to take some pictures of him! I think taking photos of him is nearly impossible. So this is really all we got, a tongue and a side view, lovely!
